We don’t do mini sessions. We don’t copy a Pinterest pin. We don’t book a family who wants to be photographed the way every other family in town is photographed. We take a limited number of portrait commissions each year because the work we make cannot be made at volume. If your standards are already higher than what's available locally, this is why.
If Your Senior Is Graduating This Year
Your senior is in their last months at home. You have been telling yourself you'll get the portrait done this year. You said the same thing last year about junior year.
The school photographer will hand you a cap-and-gown shot in May. Your child will smile, hand it to you, and you will put it in the drawer with the others.
Or — you commission the portrait now. Before this season ends. Before your child turns into the adult they’re about to become. While you can still look at the image and recognize the child.
